BECCA DI TOS 3100 mt.
Ski:•••••

Ambient:••••
Drop: 2100 mt.
Exposure: N
A variable descent of medium difficulty. A significant vertical drop of over 2100mt. At the top part of the run there is a large glacier from which we traverse over a series of moraine to the gully at the beginning of the pastures of Boregne. From here we descend on the right into the larch woods where the trees are not very open until the village of Champencon, we keep skiing to Chamin at 1200mt. A mini bus will then come and pick up the group from this point. This descent requires a good snow cover to be able to arrive at the pick up point easily. Vertical drop: over 2100mt. The wind effect are really important in this descent, but whit a good stability it's one of the best descent on the Alps.

A variable descent of medium difficulty. Open slopes with a consistent steepness. Very nice terrain for snowborder. We have several different itinerary in this slope, some gulley are very steep and they need a good stablity to be ski. If we ski down to the village we have to check the terrain from the helipad like that we will not go into the bush the last 300 vertical meter.

Drop: 600/800/1000 mt.

An easy descent, very wide open slopes with a limited steepness. No risk of avalanche whatsoever, an ideal area after the heavy snow falls at the beginning of the season.Normally in this area we ski many different runs, some they go on the forest, some are very steep on the beggining of the slopes, this is the terrain we had ski on the past season also when the risk of avalanche was up to 4 and some days to 5.

RABUIGNE 3194 mt.

Drop: 1.500 mt.

Large landing area with a more demanding run at the beginning, turning into a varied descent. The middle section is not possible to ski due to the flatness of the Vallone del Boc, therefore there are various trails through the trees to contribute to a fun descent down to the base. Many time we just land under the steep slope and we ski the gentle part of the descent.

A simple descent requiring stable snow conditions to be able to be skied. The first part of the descent is relatively steep, continuing down to the classic itinerary of Rabuigne. The last few seasons we had ski this slope several time whit risk avalanche 3, like we ski very often this kind of terrain it become more and more stable.

COLLE DI INVERGNAN 3067 mt.

An easy descent, used often after very heavy snow falls to test the surrounding slopes. Particular attention needs to be paid to the north face of the Grande Rousse which is part of the first slope. At half way the descent joins that of Giasson. If we ski down keeping always the right we have a steep gulley who we can ski just with good stability.

GIASSON 3215 mt.

Drop: 600/800/1000 mt.

A simple classic descent direct towards the pastures of Monforciaz. Some of the descents on the NW side lead to the valley of Rifugio Bezzi and can be quite demanding depending on the snow conditions. In the upper part of the run we are on the glacier but due to the warm changing almost no crevasses anymore. This is the most use terrain we had ski on the last few season. With risk 3 of avalanche, of course after looking always the signe of instability, we ski this kind of terrain, some time with doing the 1st. landing on the feet of the moraine, then with the second landing we ski from the top to the bottom. Last part of the normal run is so beautiful,we ski the large forest of old trees (600 years). Always keep an eyes to the slopes on the left and of the wall of Grande Rousse.

A simple descent usually used in the spring, or otherwise combined with an ascent with skins up to Giasson in the Helirandonee programme, which departs from San Martino lake at aprox. 2900mt. We need a good stability to ski the steep slopes above the refuge Bezzi.

A mountain wilderness, great descents with the option to descend into France at St. Foy. Slopes ideal for snowboarders up until the final section which leads to the pastures of Grande Alpe. Abundant snow conditions, snow laden cornices, varying steepness of the slopes all adds to a demanding and interesting descent. This descent it's more and more ski on the past season also with risk 3 and it become the classic slopes of heliski Valgrisenche.

Also this descent has a fabulous panorama, ideal steepness both in winter and spring conditions. There is a significant vertical drop as exceeds 1900mt. Particular attention is paid to the avalanche risk of Becca di Planaval at the end of the run. From now, more then 5 season, we start to ski very often the slopes they lead to the alpages of Glacier. It's a glacier with some big crevacces but gentle terrain when the stability is no so good there are perfects slopes.

Large open spaces, from the peak there is a breathtaking 360‘γ view, from here you can see Monte Bianco, Monte Rosa, Matterhorn and Gran Paradiso. You can also see the ski lifts at the Gran Motte in Tignes and behind, the Barre des Ecrins. A classic descent down to Bonne, fun and variable, with a number of alternatives of which some are quite demanding.
With risk 3 many times we ski the descent descending to Miolet alpages.
